Getting involved in HERO is fun and really easy to do. There are so many ways to make a lasting contribution that are guaranteed to change the life of a child. Whether you are a high school or college student, parent, grandparent or just someone looking to make a difference, HERO has something for everyone.
Here are a few easy steps you can take to immediately get involved in becoming a true CHAMPION FOR CHANGE:
Sign Up! By taking a minute to fill out this short form, you can find out about all the great things HERO is doing in each of our schools. You will also be able to find interesting events you can participate in and great ideas to help you stay involved.
If you are a student, visit our Club HERO page to learn more about this particular initiative. You will be able to get your friends and school involved, talk to your peers about global issues through cool message boards, as well as participate in Model UN Conventions and/or upcoming HERO Youth Ambassador trips!
If you are a UNA-USA member, or want to become one, visit our UNA-USA website. Here you can find out all the great things these member groups are doing around the U.S. to help promote the MillenniumDevelopment Goals as well as share creative fundraising ideas and initiatives to help HERO schools.
If you are a young professional (20s & 30s), get involved with one of our YPIC (Young Professionals for International Cooperation) Groups. UNA-USA has YPIC's around the country and they are great ways to socialize, discuss international affairs, and raise money to help HERO reach its goals.
Donate! This is the easiest way to give. Remember - NO amount is too small. Every dollar counts in helping to change a child's life.
